Summit's Student Worldview Conferences are intensive two-week retreats designed to teach students how to analyze the various ideas that are currently competing for their hearts and minds.  For more information click on the link listed above.

2.  Congressional Award: http://www.congressionalaward.org/

The Congressional Award is the United States Congress' award for young Americans.  It is non-partisan, voluntary, and non-competitive.  The program is open to all 14- to 23-year-olds.  Participants earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold Congressional Award Certificates and Bronze, Silver, and Gold Congressional Award Medals.  Each level involves setting goals in four program areas;  Volunteer Public Service, Personal Development, Physical Fitness, and Expedition/Exploration.  Earning the Award is a fun and interesting way to get more involved in something you already enjoy or something you'd like to try for the first time.  You move at your own pace - on your own or with your friends.  This is not an award for past accomplishments.  Instead, you are honored for achieving you own challenging goals.  For more information click on the link listed above.

The Tulane Science Scholars Program (TSSP) gives high school students the opportunity to take college-credit courses in the summer in science and engineering at Tulane before high school graduation. TSSP is a selective program for rising 10th through 12th grade students who have exceptional talent in the sciences, engineering, and mathematics. Residential options are available.

Limited tuition scholarships are available for Louisiana residents, and financial aid is awarded based on need. In order to be considered for our scholarship opportunities, you must submit your scholarship application by the financial aid application deadline.
